In 2009, a leading global warehousing company purchased a 725,000 square foot facility in Chesterfield, Michigan, and requested Bloom Roofing’s assistance with a commercial roof replacement. After Bloom Roofing completed an extensive visual inspection to understand the roof areas that were most problematic, Bloom recommended that an aerial infrared scan be completed.
Bloom used aerial infrared technology and visual inspections to identify roof system issues and develop specific solutions for each of the roof’s 16 different areas. Of the 725,000 square foot surface, our evaluation found that only 322,000 square feet of the roof’s most damaged areas required replacement. This allowed Bloom to cut out the time and money required to replace more than 400,000 square feet of roofing, saving our client more than $2,500,000.
