In 2011, a leading automotive supplier in the Metro Detroit region, providing high-quality interior seating, overhead systems, and center consoles for Michigan’s major automotive manufacturers.

For years, Bloom Roofing has been the preferred commercial roofing company for Johnson Controls, Inc., providing more than 1,000,000 square feet of roofing for the company and its related joint venture facilities. In 2011, Johnson Controls called upon Bloom Roofing again for commercial roofing the Detroit Bridgewater Interiors facility.

With extensive wear and tear to the existing, aging roofing system, Bloom Roofing removed the existing roof membrane and insulation to make way for the new installation. Bloom’s expert team installed Polyiso insulation across the 92,861 square foot roof before installing a new .60 mil TPO roofing membrane across the structure to ensure that the roof would remain protected and watertight for years to come.

From Michigan to Alabama to Mississippi to Oklahoma, Bloom Roofing has provided commercial roofing services for Johnson Controls facilities throughout the United States. Matthew Norman, the North American Roofing Manager for Johnson Controls, praised Bloom Roofing for their customer service and project management.

“Bloom Roofing has the capabilities to manage difficult scenarios with personnel working directly below the roof construction,” Norman said. “We found Bloom Roofing to be a very professional organization, dedicated to projects and the timelines, and sensitive to existing business hours, customers, employees, and safety.”
